Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and support to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and report any significant changes in condition immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a flexible shift environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
