Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide clear and empathetic education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Respond swiftly to patient needs and emergencies while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and computer systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
