Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, progress, and treatment responses accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families regarding medical conditions and after-care instructions.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by following infection control standards and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Washington.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required by the shift schedule.
