Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and triage to determine appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions, documenting changes and interventions accurately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and home care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are welcome.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
