Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute and ambulatory settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for coordinated treatment plans
- Educate patients/families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active VA RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in relevant specialty
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BSN degree or higher (ADN candidates considered with experience)
