Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and telehealth triage protocols
- Provide clinical guidance to patients regarding appropriate care levels
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and care coordinators for complex cases
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Handle emergency triage with calm professionalism
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Hawaii RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous telehealth or triage experience preferred
