Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls/walk-ins using standardized triage protocols
- Provide accurate clinical guidance to patients via phone and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care levels and interventions
- Document all assessments and patient interactions in electronic health records
- Educate patients on health resources and preventive care measures
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of adult/pediatric assessment protocols
- Valid BLS certification required
