Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate telephone triage assessments for patients of all ages
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways
- Document patient encounters in electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding home care or next steps
- Manage urgent care referrals and hospital admissions
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and data security protocols
- Maintain efficient patient flow and wait time management
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX)
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Triage certification or equivalent training preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

- Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
