Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls via telehealth platform to determine medical urgency and appropriate care level
- Provide accurate clinical guidance to patients while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
- Document patient interactions and assessments in EHR systems with precision
- Monitor patient conditions through follow-up communications and escalation protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for triage processes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN license required)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in emergency or urgent care settings
- BLS/CPR certification with current credentials
- Proficiency in telehealth technology and EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
- BSN degree preferred or equivalent experience
