Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Prepare sterile compounds and IV admixtures
- Process insurance claims and third-party billing
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical initiatives
- Ensure adherence to FDA and DEA regulations
Qualifications
- Active PTCB certification required
- Minimum 1 year hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong knowledge of sterile compounding techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Valid DC Pharmacy Technician license
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
