Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications using provided automated dispensing equipment
- Manage inventory with digital tracking systems and automated counting devices
- Operate prescription verification scanners and compounding tools under pharmacist supervision
- Maintain sterile environments with provided compounding hoods and equipment
- Utilize pharmacy management software for order processing and record-keeping
- Assist with medication packaging using automated labeling systems
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician license
- 6+ months experience with automated dispensing systems
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Ability to operate digital prescription verification equipment
- Strong attention to detail with medication compounding protocols
- Basic knowledge of sterile compounding techniques
