Responsibilities
- Process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and medication orders using our digital dispensing systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked.
- Assist patients with medication counseling and answering general pharmacy questions.
- Prepare and package prescriptions for pickup or delivery.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of the pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Texas.
- Board Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) is highly preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with pharmacy software.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
