Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive, prepare, and dispense prescription medications under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
  • Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription orders to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and processing reorders to prevent stockouts.
  • Assist patients with medication questions, refill requests, and provide exceptional customer service at the service window.

Qualifications

  • Current and active Pharmacy Technician license issued by the State of Alaska.

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in medication dispensing.
  • Excellent mathematical and reading comprehension skills.
