Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify prescription medications using provided automated dispensing systems
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory and ordering through our integrated inventory management software
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient medication records with provided digital tools
- Assist pharmacists in compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations using professional equipment
- Provide exceptional patient education on medication usage and health topics
- Maintain strict compliance with FDA and DEA regulations using provided compliance software
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- 6+ months of pharmacy technician experience with modern equipment
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently with provided automated dispensing systems
