Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications using provided automated dispensing systems
- Manage inventory and stock pharmaceuticals with provided barcode scanners
- Operate digital prescription processing software with company-issued tablets
- Maintain sterile compounding environments using provided safety equipment
- Process insurance claims via provided pharmacy management software
- Assist with patient consultations using provided consultation tools
- Ensure HIPAA compliance with provided secure record systems
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing equipment (training provided)
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and medication safety knowledge
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with provided equipment
- Basic computer literacy with willingness to learn proprietary systems
