Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications using provided automated dispensing systems
- Manage inventory and stock pharmaceutical supplies using advanced tracking technology
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records through our digital pharmacy management system
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure medication safety and regulatory compliance
- Provide exceptional patient counseling and medication education
- Maintain sterile compounding environments with provided equipment
- Utilize point-of-care testing devices for patient assessments
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility
- Prior experience with automated dispensing systems (e.g., Pyxis, Omnicell)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and pharmacy regulations
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS/1, Rx30)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently with provided technology and equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Compounding certification preferred
