Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications using provided automated dispensing systems
- Manage inventory and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies with provided inventory software
- Process insurance claims and verify patient eligibility through provided pharmacy management systems
- Assist pharmacists with compounding medications using provided compounding equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using provided electronic health record systems
- Provide exceptional customer service while operating prescription verification equipment
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail or hospital pharmacy setting
- Proficient with pharmacy software and automated dispensing equipment
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods with provided supportive equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
