Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify patient information and prescription details for accuracy and safety.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Process insurance claims and communicate with insurance providers regarding coverage.
- Assist patients with medication questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment in compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
