Responsibilities
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness before dispensing medications.
- Prepare and package prescriptions according to strict safety and legal standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving shipments and restocking shelves.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure proper medication therapy management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy work environment.
- Assist in processing insurance claims and managing patient records.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license or equivalent state certification.
- Current North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license (if required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
