Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications accurately under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Assist customers with medication inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pharmacy environment in strict accordance with health regulations.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification (or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions precisely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn pharmacy management software.
