Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
- Prepare compounded medications, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and dosage accuracy.
- Assist patients with medication inquiries, insurance verification, and refill requests.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and order pharmaceutical supplies.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and compliant with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to streamline workflow and improve patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Current California Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT).
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; pharmacy technician degree preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
