Responsibilities
- Verify and prepare prescription orders with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist pharmacists in the compounding and dispensing of medications.
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and addressing patient concerns.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Process insurance claims and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification or willingness to obtain.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
