Responsibilities
- Accurately process and fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure strict compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, retrieving, and disposing of medications.
- Prepare medications for delivery and patient pickup, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, answering questions about medications and providing excellent service.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
- Current and active Oregon State Board of Pharmacy license.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy management software (e.g., Rx30, Cerner, or Epic).
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
