Responsibilities
- Prepare and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently according to state and federal laws.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and medication history to prevent errors.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Assist pharmacists with compounding and specialized medication preparations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or eligible to obtain certification.
- Current state license to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in Missouri.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software and computer systems.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required.
