Your Role:
We are looking for a professional who is committed to patient safety and operational excellence. You will work closely with pharmacists to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of medications to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions, including answering the phone and greeting customers.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and performing monthly counts.
- Assist patients with medication questions and provide outstanding customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile pharmacy environment in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and prescription refill requests.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or eligible to sit for certification (PTCB or ExCPT).
- Current active State of Minnesota Pharmacy Technician License.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with pharmacy management software.
