In this role, you will work closely with licensed pharmacists to ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications. You will be the face of our pharmacy, assisting patients with their prescriptions and ensuring a seamless healthcare experience.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications accurately according to doctor's orders and safety protocols.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and dosage instructions to prevent errors.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and auditing pharmaceutical supplies.
- Assist patients with medication inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Operate pharmacy software systems to process insurance claims and reimbursements efficiently.
- Assist the pharmacist with compounding medications and clinical documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by PTCB or ExCPT (or eligible to obtain certification).
- Valid New York State Pharmacy Technician license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
