Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and patient billing inquiries
- Maintain sterile compounding environments for IV preparations
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing and record-keeping
- Assist in medication therapy management consultations
Qualifications
- No prior pharmacy experience required - we provide full training!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn pharmacy systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must obtain Kansas Pharmacy Technician certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid Kansas driver's license (for medication deliveries if required)
