Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare prescriptions according to legal and regulatory standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including restocking shelves and ordering supplies.
- Verify patient information and process insurance claims with high accuracy.
- Interact with patients to answer questions regarding medications and provide customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy workspace.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Willingness to obtain state pharmacy technician certification (training provided).
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
