Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in accordance with facility protocols and state regulations.
- Assessments: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and psychological evaluations.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, charting patient progress and changes in condition.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing critical patients.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or compact state.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med-Surg, ICU, or Telemetry preferred).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong patient-centric focus.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work shifts as required.
