Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and pharmacy board regulations
- Assist with sterile compounding and medication packaging
- Operate pharmacy technology systems (e.g., automated dispensing machines)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math and computer literacy skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- No prior pharmacy experience necessary – training provided
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must obtain PTCB certification within 6 months of hire
