Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals at the counter.
- Verify prescription information for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness.
- Prepare sterile compounding solutions and other pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience necessary—paid training and certification support provided.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Willingness to obtain state licensure/certification upon completion of training.
