Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacists in the dispensing of prescription medications.
- Prepare, package, and label medications according to strict safety protocols.
- Process prescription orders accurately using pharmacy management software.
- Manage inventory levels and assist in the ordering and stocking of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries regarding prescriptions and insurance.
- Collect and verify patient insurance information and payment processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pharmacy workspace.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be willing to enroll in and complete our paid training program.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
