Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescriptions according to state and federal regulations.
- Verify prescription information for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate dosing.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding medications, insurance coverage, and general pharmacy operations.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and organizing medications.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- No prior experience necessary; paid training is provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
