Responsibilities

  • Process and verify prescriptions accurately, checking for drug interactions and allergies.
  • Prepare and package medications, including compounding sterile preparations when required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and place orders for pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Interact professionally with patients to answer questions regarding medications and insurance billing.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and pharmacy safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Current and active PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
