Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and fill prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist patients with medication inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Process insurance claims and manage reimbursement paperwork efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and restock pharmaceutical supplies.
- Prepare medication labels and ensure proper storage of controlled substances.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license required for Washington State.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
