The Role
In this critical position, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of medications. You will collaborate with pharmacists to prepare prescriptions, verify documentation, and interact directly with patients to ensure they understand their medication regimens.

Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and package prescription medications for dispensing to patients.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription orders for accuracy.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving shipments and restocking shelves.
- Assist pharmacists in processing Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance claims.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering questions about medications and side effects.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the pharmacy work area.
Qualifications
- Current, active PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred but willing to train motivated candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
