Responsibilities
- Accurately receive and process prescription orders from various sources.
- Prepare and package medications, ensuring proper labeling and patient counseling.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure medication therapy safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and state pharmacy board laws.
- Manage patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or eligible to sit for certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and dosage calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments.
