Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and package prescription medications for patients.
- Verify prescription orders for completeness and accuracy before dispensing.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking pharmaceutical supplies.
- Assist pharmacists with compounding medications and other technical tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient questions regarding medications.
- Process insurance claims and handle payment transactions efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification (or state license where applicable).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
