Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection following strict protocols
- Verify patient identification and ensure proper specimen labeling
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Provide patient education during blood draw procedures
- Adhere to OSHA and CLIA compliance standards
- Collaborate with laboratory and clinical teams
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Valid Kansas driver's license (if required for mobile services)
