Responsibilities
- Accurately process prescriptions and verify medication orders
- Manage inventory and maintain pharmacy records
- Assist pharmacists with compounding and sterile preparations
- Provide exceptional patient counseling on medication usage
- Operate automated dispensing systems and POS software
- Coordinate insurance claims and third-party billing
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Active Nevada Pharmacy Technician license required
- Minimum 1 year retail/pharmacy experience
- Certification through PTCB preferred
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Background check and drug screening required
