Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses and safety.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
- Respond immediately to emergent situations and critical care needs.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different unit rotations as needed.
