Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen collection with precision and care
- Maintain accurate patient records using our HIPAA-compliant EHR system during remote shifts
- Process and transport specimens to laboratories following strict protocols
- Provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborate with healthcare teams through virtual meetings and on-site coordination
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in phlebotomy
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Ability to work independently during remote shifts
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR certification preferred
