Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced medical setting and interacting with patients of all backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws with precision and minimal patient discomfort.
- Label, process, and log blood samples accurately according to laboratory protocols.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards (OSHA, CLIA).
- Greet patients, explain procedures, and verify patient identity and medical history.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy workstations and equipment.
- Collaborate with nurses and laboratory staff to facilitate timely specimen processing.
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification required.
- Valid Arizona State Phlebotomy license.
- Previous experience in a clinical or laboratory setting preferred (1-2 years).
- Strong attention to detail and fine motor skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-volume periods.
