Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary draws with precision and minimal patient discomfort.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA compliance standards.
- Process and label specimens accurately for laboratory analysis.
- Greet and assist patients ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant background preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
