Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections following strict protocols
- Process and label specimens accurately for laboratory testing
- Maintain sterile equipment and infection control procedures
- Provide compassionate patient care during blood draws
- Document collection data using electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for seamless patient flow
- Adhere to OSHA, CLIA, and institutional safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 15-25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Basic computer proficiency for EHR documentation
- Commitment to completing the full paid training program
