Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to clients including bathing, dressing, and medication assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to medical team
- Assist with mobility transfers using provided equipment (hoyer lifts, walkers)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping and client-specific care routines
- Transport clients to appointments using company-provided vehicle
- Maintain accurate care documentation and communication logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with provided equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate demeanor with patience for elderly care
- Reliable transportation to Plano area locations
- Pass background check and drug screening
