Job Description
Welcome to the forefront of the technological singularity. Nova Horizon Technologies is pioneering the computing infrastructure required for the year 2026 and beyond. We are looking for a highly skilled Quantum Systems Architect to design the next generation of error-corrected quantum processors and hybrid classical-quantum algorithms.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and software engineering, ensuring our systems can solve complex optimization problems that are currently impossible for classical computers. You will be working in a state-of-the-art lab environment with access to the latest superconducting qubit hardware.
If you are passionate about shaping the future of computation and want to lead a team that is redefining the limits of what is possible, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable quantum circuits and algorithms for cryptography and material science applications.
- Develop and implement error mitigation and fault-tolerant protocols for near-term quantum devices.
- Integrate quantum processors with classical high-performance computing (HPC) clusters to build hybrid workflows.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum hardware components to ensure stability and coherence times.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of physicists, electrical engineers, and software developers.
- Write technical documentation and white papers for internal stakeholders and the scientific community.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, specifically superposition, entanglement, and decoherence.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware description languages (Verilog/VHDL).
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and numerical methods.
