Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, alerting physicians to any changes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care.
- Document all nursing care and patient responses accurately and timely.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical care situations.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the state of Illinois.
- BSN preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New Grads encouraged).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
