Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and oncology
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Mentor nursing students and new staff through our structured orientation program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Respond to emergent situations with critical thinking and rapid intervention
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and hospital infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota RN license with unrestricted practice privileges
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
