Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient care services in medical records and electronic health systems.
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment home care and health maintenance.
- Maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment by following safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid and active RN license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred for high-acuity units.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
